Actually, there are two types of twins, one in which both are different in appearance. These are called dizygotic twins. This happens when two eggs get fertilized in the womb. The gender of these children may also be different and their faces may also be different in appearance. Others in which both are similar in appearance are called monozygotic twins. They are made from a single egg and sperm. That’s why their gender and faces are similar.
