US President Donald Trump on Friday (July 24, 2026) issued a major threat to Russia and China amid the ongoing conflict and tension with Iran in West Asia. Trump made a big threat to both the countries, saying that he does not think that China or Russia are involved in a war with Iran, but if they do get involved, it would be very bad for them.

Amidst the increased tension in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump shared a post in this regard on the social media platform Truth Social. Trump said, ‘China’s President Xi Jinping told me during our recent meeting in Beijing that he will not give or sell any weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran under any circumstances.’
He said, ‘This also applies to all Chinese companies. Given our mutual relations, I trust his words. Apart from this, I am also doing many big favors for them.
What did President Trump say about Russia??
President Trump said, ‘Similarly, despite the terrible war going on in Ukraine, just as my relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remains intact, Russian President Vladimir Putin also told me that he will not sell arms to Iran.’
He said, ‘They also understand that I do not sell arms directly to Ukraine, but sell arms to NATO countries. They pay the full price for it and after that I don’t know anything about where and how the NATO countries distribute those weapons.
He further said, ‘Therefore in my opinion, the two major countries whose names are often mentioned in the context of Iran are not involved in this matter. If they do, it will be very bad for them and definitely not in their best interest.
