According to a report by SACNL, Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Jana Nayakan’ has earned a total nett of Rs 21.15 crore from 12,190 shows in India on the second day of its release. With this, the net earning of the film in India in two days is Rs 63.85 crore and the total gross collection has now become Rs 75.00 crore.

‘Jana Nayakan’ is doing well overseas. The film earned Rs 10.00 crore on the second day in foreign countries, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 37.50 crore. The worldwide gross collection of the film has reached Rs 112.50 crore. That means this film has earned more than Rs 100 crore in just two days of its release.

‘Jana Nayakan’ has been directed by H Vinoth. Along with Vijay, many big actors like Mamita Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Prakash Raj are in lead roles in the film. Initially the film was scheduled to release in January, but due to a dispute between the producer and CBFC, it was postponed for a few months. After several months of delay and facing online leaks, it released on the big screen on July 23.
