Three years after the release of ‘Adipurush’, the film’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir has called it the ‘biggest mistake’ of his life. In a recent interview, he recalled the controversy regarding this film starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon and said that he feels embarrassed on this film.
People started trolling just six months before its release.
During a conversation on Times Now’s podcast ‘Baatein Dil Se’, Manoj told that his wife had advised him not to defend the film publicly. He told that about six months before the release of the film, people had started raising questions on the makers and trolling the film. His wife feared that he would become the biggest target of this entire controversy. Now looking back, Manoj admits that he should have listened to his wife.

‘Adipurush’ was the biggest mistake of my life’
Talking about the criticism of the film, Manoj said, ‘Initially I did not take it very seriously. It took me two days to understand. ‘Adipurush’ was the biggest mistake of my life and defending that film was an even bigger mistake. I am very ashamed of whatever happened regarding the film and I apologize to this country for whatever happened.
‘I feel ashamed’
Manoj Muntashir said that he regrets that he could not do justice to Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman. He also said that many of his remarks, including his comments about Lord Hanuman, were taken out of context. However, he further said, ‘Now when I look back, I feel ashamed that I wrote those things. I don’t know what I was thinking while writing them.
