Both of them did three big films together, but unfortunately these three films could not do anything special at the box office. Now famous film director and producer Sunil Darshan has made a shocking revelation about the flop of these three films and the tension between the two actors on the sets.
There was a strange rivalry between Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor
In an interview given to Hindi Rush, Sunil Darshan revealed that there used to be a strange kind of rivalry between Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor, which often came in the way of their work. Both of them did three films together – ‘Joshile’, ‘Ram Avtaar’ and ‘Intekaam’. If you pay attention, none of these films were a hit. The director believes that there was no chemistry between the two, on-screen or off-screen. This rivalry was reflected in the characters he played, which greatly affected his work.
What did Sunil Darshan say?
Sunil Darshan said, ‘There was some strange rivalry between Anil Kapoor and Sunny Deos and somewhere she used to disturb the work. Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor did three films together. The name of one was ‘Joshile’, the name of the second was ‘Ram Avtaar’ and the name of the third was ‘Intekaam’. If you notice, none of those films were hits. There was no chemistry between the two, the work got disturbed somewhere in the characters they played.

Both of them used to do very childish things…
Sunil Darshan further said, ‘Those used to be very funny, childish acts and it often happened that one hero was sitting inside and the other was sitting outside the gate. So the task was that sir, how should the producer manage, to whom should he tell?
‘Everyone’s ego has to be handled on the set’
Stars definitely have egos, but when you go to the set as a producer, not only the stars, but also the egos of the spotboy, make-up artist, hair dresser and writer have to be managed. Sometimes someone throws tantrums, sometimes someone else. In such a situation, one has to work in coordination with everyone.

Let us tell you that Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor’s film ‘Ram Avatar’ was released in the year 1988. Sridevi was also in the lead role in this action drama film. However, this film failed at the box office. Now let’s talk about the film ‘Inteqaam’ released in 1988. Apart from Sunny and Anil, actors like Meenakshi Sheshadri, Prem Chopra, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor were seen in it. Apart from this, the film ‘Joshile’ was released in theaters in 1989. Artists like Sridevi, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Satish Kaushik were seen in it.
