
Both BSNL and Vi have recharge plans of Rs 299-299. These are low priced basic plans, in which you get benefits like calling, SMS and data. If you are busy and do not have time to stream on OTT platforms etc. then these basic plans will be useful for you. In these you will not have to pay for additional benefits. In these, there are only benefits like calling and data as per your need.

Talking about BSNL’s Rs 299 plan, 3GB data is being given daily with a validity of 30 days. This means that you will get a total of 90GB data in a month. Apart from this, this plan also offers free unlimited calling and 100 SMS daily on all networks across the country. If the free SMS limit is reached then standard rates will apply.

Vi’s Rs 299 plan offers a validity of 28 days. In this, only 1GB high speed data is being provided daily. After this limit is reached, internet speed will be reduced to 64Kbps. Along with data, unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS daily are available in this plan. The data in this plan is much less as compared to BSNL, but to compensate for this, Vodafone Idea is giving access to Vi Movies and TV, where you will be able to watch TV channels and movies for free.

If which plan is better between BSNL and Vi? The answer to this question depends on your need. If you need more data daily then BSNL plan is better. It also has an extra validity of two days. Whereas if you need entertainment along with data and calling etc. then VI plan will be fine. However, in this you will get only 1GB data daily.

Vi and BSNL are the third and fourth largest telecom companies in the country respectively. Vi’s market share is 15.5 percent and its number of users is 19.8 crore. If we talk about BSNL, the company has 9.3 crore users and its market share is 7.25 percent. Currently, BSNL is the only company left among the big companies, which has not been able to roll out 5G connectivity yet.

Jio remains the largest company in the country with the highest market share. The total number of Jio users is more than 50 crore and the company has 39.2 percent market share. Airtel is at second place in this matter. Airtel has about 48 crore users and about 38 percent market share. Jio and Airtel are the first and second number telecom companies in the country.

Talking about total wireless subscribers in India, its number has crossed 130 crore in June. These include mobile and fixed wireless access. If we talk about mobile users, their number has reached 127 crores. In comparison to May, their number has increased by .42 percent in June.
