After the Pahalgam terror attack, India Pakistan’s relations have become very bad. PAK is afraid of retaliation from India day and night. Meanwhile, Pakistan has sought help from Türkiye. As a result, Turkish naval ship TCG Büyükada has reached Karachi.
Giving information on Sunday (May 4, 2025), Pakistan’s Navy was informed that these steps have been taken to strengthen sea cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye. Pakistan and Türkiye have a good partnership about economic matters and defense matters, both of them are also better.
Turkey has given many military equipment including drones to Pakistan
Turkish defense companies have helped in the modernization of Pakistan’s Agosta 90-B-class submarines and have also provided military equipment including drones to Islamabad. Both countries regularly perform joint military exercises. Recently Ataturk-XIII practice was done. In this exercise, fighter teams of both special forces were involved and whose aim was to increase intermediate between them.
Turkish naval ship welcomed by Pak officials
According to the Directorate General of Public Relations of the Pakistani Navy (DGPR), the Turkish Navy ship was warmly welcomed by the officials of both the navies on reaching the Karachi port. DGPR said that during his stay in Karachi, the crew of TCG Buyukada will talk to Pakistan Navy personnel on several issues. The purpose of this journey is to increase mutual understanding between the two navies and strengthen marine cooperation.
Turkish Ambassador Dr. Irfan Negiroglu met Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday and expressed the solidarity of Ankara with Pakistan. DGPR said that it reflects deep mutual trust and strategic partnership between two brothers based on centuries -old historical and cultural relations.
