India on Wednesday targeted different terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan authorized Jammu and Kashmir under Operation Sindoor. Colonel Sophia Qureshi told in a press briefing after this strike that these camps were selected on the basis of reliable intelligence to help prevent the activities of the terrorists.

1. Bahawalpur (Punjab Province, Pakistan): Bahawalpur, which is located about 100 km from the international border of India, was the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. From here, a conspiracy was hatched for the Pahalgam attack with the commanders of ‘Hamas’.
2. MuridK (Punjab Province, Pakistan): Murid Ke who is 30 km from the border is the headquarters of ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’. From here, 26/11 Mumbai attack terrorists Kasab and David Headley were trained.
3. Gulpur (Poonch-Rajouri, Pakistan): The attack on the attack on Poonch on 20 April 2023 from Gulpur, located 35 km from Kotli and a conspiracy to attack pilgrims traveling in bus on 24 June.
4. Lashkar Camp Sawai (POJK, Tangdhar Sector): This camp is close to Muzaffarabad and many terrorist attacks were hatched from here. These include Sonamarg attack on 20 October 2024, Gulmarg attack on 24 October 2024 and Pahalgam attack on 22 April 2025.
5. Bilal Camp (Jaish-e-Mohammed): Bilal Camp was a major launchpad of Jaish-e-Mohammed, the center of training of terrorists in Pakistan.
6. Lashkar Kotli Camp in front of Rajouri: This The camp was Lashkar’s bomber camp, in which about 50 terrorists were trained. This camp was located 15 km from the Line of Control in front of Rajouri.
7. Barnala Camp (in front of Rajouri): The camp is located 10 km from the Line of Control in front of Rajouri and was associated with terrorist activities in Bhimber.
8. Sarjal Camp (Jaish-e-Mohammed): The Sarjal Camp is located 8 km from the international border in front of Samba-Katua, it was the main camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed. In March, the terrorists who attacked from here killed four police personnel.
9. Mahmuna Camp (Sialkot): Mahmuna Camp is located near Sialkot. This was the main training camp of Hizbul Mujahideen. From here, Pathankot Air Base was attacked.
