Strong in bilateral trading in March quarter
This quarter bilateral trade was better due to tremendous performance in the export segment in March. From January to March 2025, India exported $ 27.7 billion goods to the US, and imported $ 10.5 billion goods. As a result, India had a trade surplus of $ 17.2 billion in favor of India.
Richard Roso, president of the US India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, wrote on X, “India has broken its record in exports to the US in March- $ 11.2 billion, for the first time it has crossed $ 10 billion.
