Pakistans air defense: A big news has come out between Operation Sindoor in India. According to the ANI report, China’s Achtue-9 missile system in Pakistan has suffered heavy losses. These long -range surface -to -air missile systems built in China are considered an important part of Pakistan’s multi -level defense network. According to ANI, India’s accurate attacks have damaged many HQ-9 launchers and related radar systems, which has affected Pakistan’s air defense capabilities at major advance places. Pakistan tried to attack India’s military bases. However, India destroyed Pakistan’s radar system and thwarted Pakistan’s major attack.
HQ-9 is a surface-to-surface-to-aair missile-SAM system, which has been prepared by the China Production Machinery Import-Xport Corporation (CPMIEC). This missile system is considered a prime example of China’s military technology and Pakistan was included in its army in the year 2021.
Pakistan adopted the air defense system because it was worried about India’s modern air war equipment. Weapons like India’s Rafale fighter aircraft, Sukhoi SU-30MKI, and BrahMos supersonic cruise missile are a major challenge for Pakistan. In view of this, Pakistan expressed confidence in a system like HQ-9, which has now collapsed in the Indian attack.

What is the range of HQ-9?
The range of HQ-9 is said to be between 125 and 200 kilometers. This system has the ability to track 100 air goals simultaneously and intercept many of them. Its radar system is based on modern AESA technology, which works on high frequency and is also able to identify the upcoming target.
Pakistan included this system as an important organ in its multi -level defense network, especially near the border and to protect strategic military bases. But in the Indian attack under Operation Sindoor, the weaknesses of this state -of -the -art system were revealed to the world.
