India Longest Passenger Ropeway is Going to Be Built Between Dehradun and Mussoorie

India longest passenger ropeway: The summer season is going on. During this time, the number of tourists will increase at the hill stations. In this episode, people will go to enjoy the beautiful litigants of Mussoorie, the queen of the mountains. Usually Dehradun, who goes to Mussoorie, also visits. For this, bus, car or taxi are hired. The journey takes 1 to 1.5 hours, but now you will reach Mussoorie from Dehradun in less than half an hour.

Dehradun to Mussoorie will reach in 20 minutes

Actually, the country’s longest ropeway is being constructed between Dehradun and Mussoorie. Once it is built, the distance between two well-known holiday destinations of Uttarakhand will be reduced to just 20 minutes. This 5.2 km long ropeway being built between the two cities is likely to be prepared by 2026. This ropeway, which is about 1,000 meters height, will be the longest ropeway of its kind in South Asia and one of the longest ropeway in the world.

This company is responsible for the project

According to Moneycontrol report, this ropeway based on mono-cubble detecble Gondola system is being made by Mussoorie Sky Car Private Limited Company, which is the Consortium of Fil Industries Private Limited, France’s Poma SAS and SRM Engineering LLP. The purpose of creating this ropeway is to promote tourism in the Himalayan region and make traffic smooth in cities.

Work on making ropeway here too

Apart from this, the company has also received the Yamunotri ropeway project, which will be 3.8 km long from Kharsali to Yamunotri. This will make it easier to the devotees who reach here in the number of thousands. Along with this, ropeway is also being constructed for Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib.

The 12.9 km long ropeway to be built in Kedarnath at a cost of Rs 4,081 crore can be reached from Sonprayag to Kedarnath in just 60 minutes. Right now the journey takes 6-7 hours.

Similarly, it has been approved to build a 12.4 km long ropeway for Hemkund Sahib. It will cost Rs 2,730 crore to make it. This will reduce 45 minutes to go from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib.
