Heat wave alert: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heatwave in most parts of the country on Sunday (March 23, 2025). The IMD has said that during the next three to four days, most parts of the country may increase by two to four degrees Celsius, while in many areas of North West India, temperature may increase by 5 degrees Celsius during the next four days. Due to increase in temperature, strong heat will run in different areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 4 to 5 days, there is a possibility of increasing temperature by two to four degrees Celsius in Central India and some districts of Maharashtra. Along with this, there are two to three degrees Celsius growth and subsequent estimate during the next three days in Gujarat. At the same time, heat may increase in the coastal areas of Gujarat.
Mercury reached 40 degrees in Madhya Pradesh
The Indian Meteorological Department says that the temperature has reached close to 40 degrees in most districts of Madhya Pradesh, such as Gwalior, Ujjain and Indore. The heat wave will run in these areas from 27 to 31 March. Even though the western disturbance is active in the upper parts of the Himalayas, it is not as strong as it is. IMD has also said that from March to May, 15 to 20 days will be tremendous. Due to this, from March to May, there will be alert of heat wave for 30 to 35 days.
The weather had become pleasant for a few days
Even though the thunderstorms and storms in the areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand had made the weather pleasant, but now in the coming days, there is going to be fire from the sky. In the last 24 hours, there was heavy rainfall in Orissa and parts of Kerala. Apart from this, hailstorm took place in parts of Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Telangana and Karnataka. In Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Meghalaya, there was moisture in the weather due to strong wind and thunderstorms, but now there will be strong heat stroke in these areas.
