Sanjiv Goenka on Lsh Elimination Playoff On Monday, with the defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants have been ruled out of the IPL 2025 playoffs. SRH won by 6 wickets over Lucknow thanks to Abhishek Sharma’s stormy Fifty and then Henrik Klassen’s brilliant performance. Lucknow could not save the target of 206 runs. He currently has 2 matches left in the league stage, which will be insufficient to take him to the playoffs. Now LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka has reacted to his team being out of the playoffs.
Giving a passionate message on social media, Sanjeev Goenka wrote, “The second phase of the season was difficult for us, but a lot of during this time will increase our courage. Passes, efforts and moments of success encourage us to further. 2 matches are still left, let’s finish the season with good memories while playing with Gaurav.”
Five defeats in 6 matches
The second phase of IPL 2025 for Lucknow Super Giants was really difficult. LSG had won four wins in the first 6 matches in the season, but he got only one win in the next 6 matches. Lucknow has lost the last four matches and is yet to play one match with Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
