S 400 Air Defense System Makes History in Operation Sindoor Destroyed AWACS ARCRAFT 315 km Inseed Pakistan

Operation Sindoor: After the Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan has been caused by major damage in the air strike done by India under Operation Sindoor. Hindustan Times quoted Indian officials as saying that aerial attacks on India (May 10, 2025) destroyed a Pakistani SAAB-200 Early Warning Aircraft (AWACS) in 315 km in the enemy area and killed many Pakistani fighters and a military transport aircraft.

During the May 10 military action, the Indian Air Force (IAF) missiles attacked major Pakistani aircraft and military bases across the border. According to sources, during the air strike, a C-130J medium lift transport aircraft, a JF-17 fighter jet and 2 F-16 fighter aircraft were killed on air and ground.

S-400 active 11 times
The S-400 air defense system posted in Adampur was activated 11 times during the operation. On May 10, Indian missiles also destroyed China’s LY-80 air defense system in Lahore via Harpy Kamikage drone. Another attack also destroyed the Chinese version of the HQ-9 surface-to-air system S-300 in Karachi Malir.

S-400 ability to penetrate 80 goals simultaneously
The S-400 is designed to penetrate 400 km away goals using 40-N6 missiles. It also has a 48-N6 missile with a 250 km range. The S-400 has the ability to penetrate 80 goals simultaneously.

This strike operation was part of the vermilion, which was done in response to the attempt of attacks on India by Pakistan. Pakistan tried to attack India through its operation Bunyan al-Marsus. As part of this operation of Pakistan, which started on May 10, there was a plan to target Indian aerial status in the next 48 hours. However, this retaliation ended within 8 hours.
