Hemant soren in niti aayog meet: The 10th meeting of NITI Aayog’s top body Governing Council began on Saturday (May 24) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, CMs of many other states including Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren were also present. Many Union Ministers were also present in the meeting.

CM Hemant Soren of Jharkhand shared the picture and video of NITI Aayog meeting on social media platform X. He wrote, “Today, attended the meeting of the 10th Governing Council of NITI Aayog held under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.”

What did PM Modi say in NITI Aayog meeting?

Addressing the Chief Ministers and Union Ministers present in the meeting, PM Modi said, “If the Center and all the states come together and work together like Team India, then no goal is impossible. India is rapidly urbanization. Our goal should be to develop every state, city, municipality and village. If we work on it, we will not have to wait till 2047 to become a developed India.

First major meeting after ‘Operation Sindoor’

The theme of NITI Aayog’s Governing Council meeting is ‘Developed State for India developed in 2047’. The Governing Council, the top unit of NITI Aayog, includes all the Chief Ministers, Lt. Governor of Union Territories and several Union Ministers. Prime Minister Modi is the ex -officio president of NITI Aayog. After the ‘Operation Sindoor’ run against the terrorist structures in Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi’s first major meeting was held with the Chief Ministers of all states and union territories.

For this meeting, states were asked to prepare adventure, long -term and inclusive ‘vision letters’ based on local realities along with national priorities. The full meeting of the council is usually held every year and the meeting was held on 27 July last year.
