A senior Singapore minister told India’s all -party parliamentary delegation on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) that his country strongly condemns all types of terrorist acts and stands with India against this threat.
The delegation led by Janata Dal (United) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha arrived here from South Korea and met SIMN, Minister of State for Foreign and Home, Singapore. The delegation apprised him of India’s strategy against the incidents after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Operation Sindoor and terrorism.
According to a statement by the Indian High Commission in Singapore, SIM said that Singapore strongly condemns all types of terrorist acts and stands with India against terrorism. Sim also said that Singapore and India are close partners and they will continue efforts to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The all -party delegation said that if there is a terrorist attack on India, the country will give a proper answer to it. The statement said, ‘India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmailing. India will make an accurate and decisive attack on the terrorist bases flourishing under the guise of atomic blackmail. India will make no difference between the government that sponsors terrorism and the kingpin of terrorism.
The statement said that as close friends and partners, India and Singapore will continue to work together on regional and global issues including terrorism. Sanjay Jha highlighted that this delegation had brought representatives of various political parties together to make India aware of the united resolution of India against terrorism.
After the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, the Indian government considered the need to bring its criminals and conspiracies to the dock of justice. In response to this heinous act of terror, India started Operation Sindoor targeting terrorist bases. The delegation also met the Singapore government, academics, media and senior representatives of the business world.
The High History wrote on the social media platform X, ‘We appreciate the presence of Senior Minister of State, Janil Puthucherry, Member of Parliament Vikram Nair and Shakti Supat.’ The delegation is one of the seven all -party delegations that India have entrusted with the responsibility of visiting 33 global capitals to reach out to reach the international community and expose Pakistan’s relations with terrorism.
These delegations are also working to tell the respective countries that the recent struggle began due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, not due to Operation Sindoor, as Pakistan has alleged. After the Pahalgam terror attack, tension between India and Pakistan increased and India launched accurate attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir (POK) late on May 6.
Pakistan tried to attack the Indian military bases on 8, 9 and 10 May, which India gave a befitting reply. After this tension, on May 10, talks were held between the Director General of Military Operations of the two sides and agreed to stop the military conflict.
