Jusitce yashwant varma: A three -member committee was formed by the Supreme Court to investigate the allegations against Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Verma. The judges involved in this committee reached the house of Justice Verma on Tuesday (March 25) for investigation. This committee will investigate a large amount of cash case found at Judge Yashwant Verma’s house.
Action will be done on the basis of committee report
Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Devendra Kumar Upadhyay had already investigated the case in-house. He had said that there should be a deep investigation into this matter. After this, Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna formed a committee of three judges to investigate the matter. This committee will report to the CJI after investigating the allegations. Based on this report, the Chief Justice will take a decision regarding the accused Judge Yashwant Verma.

The country’s Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna formed a committee of CJ Sheel Nagu of Punjab and Haryana High Court, CJ GS Sandhawalia of Himachal High Court and Anu Shivraman of Karnataka High Court, which has been given the responsibility of investigating the Kaashkand.
Justice Verma’s house was revealed after fire
There was a big disclosure after a fire in the residential bungalow of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court. A large quantity of cash was allegedly recovered from his house. There was a stir after the incident came to light. Opposition created a ruckus in both houses of Parliament about this. Taking action in this case, the Chief Justice of India called a meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium, in which it was decided to transfer Justice Verma to the Allahabad High Court.
Allahabad HC Bar Association demands- impeachment should be done
When the Supreme Court Collegium recommended Justice Verma to be transferred to Allahabad High Court, the Allahabad High Court Bar Association demanded impeachment against him for corruption charges against him. The Bar Association said that CBI and ED should be allowed to register a case against Justice Verma.
