Bakrid 2025: There is a debate on Bakrid about the sacrifice of animals these days. Baba Bageshwar Dham has also objected to the sacrifice and said to completely ban the killing. His statement has been retaliated by Rihan Akhtar, Assistant Professor of Aligarh Muslim University. He dismissed the statement of Baba Bageshwar and condemned it in strong words and said that now you will be considered every kind of thing. Today, you are refusing the sacrifice tomorrow, you will say about Rosa, Namaz.
Responding to Baba Bageshwar’s statement, Assistant Professor Rihan Akhtar of AMU’s theology department said that the way he is being asked to ban sacrifices and many things are being done about animals. Today, he is talking about not obeying the goat Eid, later he will talk about not fulfilling Namaz, Roja and Zakat. This thing is not right. Thousands of goats are sacrificed on the occasion of Haj. If you do not sacrifice, then you will not be Haj.
Dhirendra Shastri’s statement overturned
Release Akhtar said that the statement made by Baba Bageshwar is not right. However, according to the administration, the banned animals should not be sacrificed and work should be done according to the government’s guideline. Due to which the sentiments of the government and the people are connected to anyone, then that animal should not be sacrificed. But now will it be considered as their every thing.
Please tell that Dhirendra Shastri of Baba Bageshwar Dham had condemned the sacrifice violence on Bakrid. He said that “Jiva violence cannot be considered appropriate in any religion. We are not in favor of sacrifice. Thus we are not in favor of the sacrifice given in Bakrid. When we cannot give life to someone, there is no right to kill him. There is no other option, then there will be such a situation, if there is any such system, then the goat will be sacrificed.”
