Now the Hindu organization says, “The auction of 25 other paintings of controversial painter MF Hussain, who depicted 140 million Indians with ‘Rape of India’ titled ‘Rape of India’, should be prevented.”
If the auction continues, there will be intense movement
Let me tell you, MF Hussain’s paintings have been auctioned on June 12 in the ‘Pandol Art Gallery’ of Hamilton House, Mumbai. In this background, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has submitted a memorandum to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Mumbai Police Commissioner and District Magistrate. It warns that if the auction continues then there will be intense movement.
The Hindu organization has said, “MF Hussain made a picture called ‘Rape of India’ at the time of 26/11 terror attack, in which Bharat was shown as naked and humiliating. It was the culmination of treason. In other pictures, the names of Indian cities are written on the body of naked Bharat Mata. In one picture, naked Sita is naked on the tail of Hanuman, then the naked Rama-seta and Hanuman are seen together.”
‘1250 complaints against MF Hussain’
On behalf of the committee, it was said, “In one picture, Shriganesh is seated in the lap of a naked woman, while in the other, Lord Hanuman is shown flying with a naked woman in his hand. Goddess Saraswati, Parvati, Ganga, Yamuna etc. have also hurt the reverence of millions of goddesses. It has been recorded. Due to this, his performance was opposed and eventually he had to leave India and take citizenship of Qatar. “
‘Conducting exhibitions like supporting treason’
The committee further said that the auction of these 25 paintings is like giving indirect support to their former anti -national and social acts. It is not acceptable in any form to hurting religious sentiments and anti -national people in the name of ‘artistic freedom’.
Many action against MF Hussain
Recently, Delhi’s Patiala House Court has ordered the seizure of paintings in Hussain’s performance and investigation is going on. In the past, many exhibitions of Hussain have been canceled due to protest and the awards to be given in his name have also been canceled.
MF Hussain’s demand to destroy paintings
In such a situation, now the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has demanded that the proposed auction and sale of MF Hussain’s paintings should be stopped immediately and a legal restriction should be imposed on it. Perfect action should be taken against the people, institutions and art galleries performing or selling these paintings. The spread of paintings hurting religious and national sentiments should be banned and the derogatory picture of Bharat Mata should be declared anti -national and destroyed it.
