Bihar Election 2025 NDA Seat Sharing Formula: Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar this year (2025) in October-November. The NDA competes with the Grand Alliance. Meanwhile, the formula of seat sharing between NDA has come out from sources. There is talk on seat sharing in Bihar NDA. Bihar has 243 assembly seats and NDA includes five parties BJP, JDU, LJP (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

Possibility of seat sharing on Lok Sabha elections formula

Talking about seat sharing, out of 243 in Bihar, JDU can contest 102-103, BJP-101-102, LJP Ram Vilas 25-28, Ham-6-7 and RLM 4-5 seats. It is believed that this is the formula of seat sharing in NDA. There is a possibility of seat distribution regarding the assembly elections on the 2024 Lok Sabha election formula. In the Lok Sabha elections held last year, BJP contested 17, JDU 16, LJP (Ram Vilas) 5, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha contested one seat each.

It has been learned from sources that this formula is being discussed in the NDA regarding the assembly elections. In the NDA, there is talk of setting a stake between small colleagues and big colleagues of the coalition in seat sharing under this formula.

Who fought in the 2020 election in how many seats?

Talking about the 2020 Bihar assembly elections, JDU quota had 122 seats. Of this, seven seats were given by JDU to Hindustani Awam Front. BJP quota had 121 seats. The BJP gave 11 seats from its quota to a developing human party. If seen, JDU fought 115 and BJP 110 seats in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections. BJP candidates won 74 seats. 43 candidates of Janata Dal United had won the election.
