Many research has revealed that more than 15 % people in India are suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency. Most of these people are vegetarian. Actually, vitamin B12 is often found less in people taking veg or vegan diet. If someone has a percentile anemia, Crohn disease, sealic disease or gastritis, then their body is not able to absorb vitamin B12 correctly. Apart from this, production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach can be reduced with aging, which is very important for the absorption of vitamin B12.
