Mach Aweded Mythological Horror film ‘Maa’ will be released in theaters on 27 June. CBFC (Central Film Certification Board) has given ‘Maa’ a UA 16+ rating. Which means that spectators of 16 years and above can see this film in theaters. Children under 16 years of age will be able to watch this film with parents. The film’s runtime is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes).

In ‘Maa’, Kajol plays the role of a mother who turns into a violent protector to protect her daughter from a monsoon curse. The story of the film revolves around a mother-daughter’s road trip. She reaches a cursed village and then there is earthquake in their life. To protect her daughter from demonic clutches, Kajol becomes black in the mother’s character. Manufactured by Jio Studios and Devgan Films, mother will be released in theaters on June 27, 2025.
