There is good news for the youth dreaming of working in the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). ISRO has issued an official notification for recruitment to 39 posts of scientist and engineer. This is a great chance for those candidates who want to serve the country in the field of space science and technology.
ISRO will appoint scientists/engineer SC posts under Group-A category. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting ISRO.Gov.in of ISRO between 24 June and 14 July 2025.
Which posts will be recruited?
- Civil Engineering – 18 posts
- Electrical Engineering – 10 posts
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – 9 posts
- Architecture – 1 post
- Civil Engineer – 1 post under Autonomous Body
What should be educational qualification?
Candidates applying for these posts should have BE or B.Tech from a recognized university and should score at least 65% marks. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have expertise and prescribed qualifications in the relevant subject.
Age limit
The maximum age limit for general category candidates has been fixed at 28 years (till 14 July 2025). OBC candidates will be given a discount of 3 years and 5 years to SC/ST class.
How will the selection be done?
In Part I, 80 multiple choice questions related to the subject will be asked. There will be 1 point on every correct answer, while there will be a cut of 1/3 points on the wrong answer. Part II will have 15 questions related to Aptitude and Ability, in which there will be no negative marking. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for interview.

how to apply?
- To apply, the candidates first go to ISRO’s official website isro.gov.in.
- After this, the candidates go to the “CAREERS” section and register
- Then the candidates fill the online application form and upload the documents
- Now pay the candidate application fee
- After this, submit the candidate form
- Then the candidate downloads it and take it out
