BJP Leader Supports Diljit Dosanjh: The trailer of Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film ‘Sardar Ji 3’ has come into controversy on social media as soon as it is released. There is opposition across the country over the presence of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film. At the same time, FWICE has demanded a ban on Diljit.
The trailer is not available in India, but the resentment of the audience has emerged for the release plan in Pakistan and the participation of the Pakistani artist. Meanwhile, BJP national spokesperson R.P. Singh (RP Singh) has come out in support of Diljit.
What is RP Singh’s statement?
RP Singh wrote on Twitter, “Diljit is not just an artist, but a global face and national property of Indian culture. The demand by FWICE to cancel his citizenship is completely irrational. Do not make patriotism a weapon, it should be reconsidered.”

RP Singh asked why there was no objection when there was an Indo-Pak cricket match before the attack, and why there was no question to the anchors calling Pakistani guests for TRP? He appealed not to make nationalism cheaper and FWICE should reconsider its decision.

Significantly, Diljit shared the trailer on his Instagram and wrote that it will only be released abroad. According to the news agency IANS, the trailer is not available on YouTube in India and the audience sees the message of “This video is not available in your country”. The release of the film in Pakistan, especially in cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Sialkot, is further provoking the anger of Indian fans. On social media, people are calling it ’embarrassing’ and ‘anti -national’.
The demand to boycott the film ‘Sardar Ji 3’ and Diljit has gained momentum on the Internet. Prior to AICWA, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has also demanded a ban on Diljit. FWICE also wrote a letter to PM Modi demanding action against Diljit and ‘Sardar Ji 3’ team. At the same time, Diljit’s passport and citizenship have also been appealed.
