Rajasthan News: Rohit Godara and his gang, who worked for Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan, have sought extortion of Rs 30 crore from the businessman. Businessman Ashok Chandak is also associated with BJP.
Ashok Chandak has lodged an FIR in Kotwali police station. He has filed a case against gangster Rohit Godara, Harry Boxer and others. A case has been registered under sections 308 (4), 351 (3) and 3 (5) of BNS. Ashish Gupta, partner of businessman Ashok Chandak, was attacked on 17 June. Ashish Gupta somehow saved his life by running away in the firing.
Threatening from June 20
Let us know that Ashok Chandak and his son Raghav Chandak are being called from different numbers continuously from June 20 and asking extortion money of Rs 30 crore. The whole family is being threatened with death for not giving ransom. Along with Rohit Godara, threatening calls are being made by other gangsters. In the constant threat given on the phone, it is being said that even the guards of the police will not be able to save the family.
Goldie Barad’s relative mentioned
In a threat sent on the message, the name of the relative of gangster Goldie Brar is also mentioned. There is an atmosphere of panic between businessman Ashok Chandak and his family due to frequent threats. The businessman has also pleaded for the protection of his and family’s life and property.
Businessman said- I have an old relationship with BJP
He says that he is an old BJP leader. His wife has been the district head. The assembly elections have also been contested as an independent candidate. Their business is spread in three states. He and his son have to go out in connection with business. Raghav is the only son among the three brothers of his family.
What did the police say?
He has also demanded from the Rajasthan government regarding his safety. The Sriganganagar police is investigating in the case of a ransom of Rs 30 crore from the businessman. Police say that strict action will be taken on the basis of investigation in this matter. Arrangements will also be made for the safety of the businessman and his family.
