Kiren rijiju visit kaza: Union Parliamentary Affairs and Tribal Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, who visited the tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh, reached Kaja on Saturday. He laid the foundation stone of several welfare projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Yojana there. The facilities for which the foundation stone are laid include sports training centers, ice hockey ring and state -of -the -art sports training centers.
Referred to the poor condition of the road
On reaching Kaja, the Union Minister was traditionally welcomed by the local public. A large number of people were present at the venue. Addressing the people present, the Union Minister reiterated the commitment of Prime Minister Modi and the Central Government for the all -round development of the tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh.
He said that as soon as he got the responsibility of Minority Ministry, he met senior officials and made a program of Lahaul Spiti Yatra before the monsoon session because he wanted to know the problems and development issues here. The Union Minister mentioned the poor condition of the road ahead of Taba.
Spiti’s home stay concept was fiercely appreciated
He said that the tendering process of this road has been completed. He said that in the coming few years, roads of Kinnaur-Lahaul Spiti Puri will be double lane via Shimla to Rampur. Due to the widening of the road, there will also be a rapid change in the lifestyle of the people. Kiren Rijiju also appreciated Spiti’s home stay concept. On Sunday too, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will be on a tour of Lahaul Spiti district.
Mandi parliamentary constituency MP Kangana Ranaut and local MLA Anuradha Rana were also present in the program with him. MLA Anuradha Rana thanked the Central Government and the minister for the gift of valuable projects to the people of his area.
