VR Logistics Major Company in the Logistics and Transport Sector Has Announced Distribution of Bonus Shares to Its Investors

Vr logistics: The share of VR Logistics, a large company of Logistics and Transport Sector, is trading more than 4 percent at Rs 597 today. What is bonus share?

The board meeting of VRL logistics will be held on 4 July. This will be the first time that the company will issue bonus shares to its shareholders. Bonus share means giving prizes to shareholders in a way, which the company gives from its rescued profits or reserves.

More people are attracted to investing in the company, which also increases the number of investors and by issuing bonus shares also increases the number of shares. In bonus shares, the company gives its current shareholders free shares in proportion to the existing shares, that is, the share without money.

Buyback of shares was done in 2023

Earlier, the company had bought shares worth Rs 61 crore in the year 2023, that is, they bought those shares back. VR Logistics has not yet fixed the record date for issuing bonus share. However, the bonus share will be available to investors who buy shares before X-DET. Bonus shares will not be given to investors who buy shares on or after X-det.

Company shares boom

At the end of the March quarter, the promoters of VRL logistics had a 60.24 percent stake in the company. On Friday, after giving information about distribution of bonus shares of the company, more than 4 jumped in shares of VRL logistics. Where on July 3, 2020, the company’s stock was priced at Rs 160.65, which has increased to Rs 597 on June 30, 2025. That is, in the last four years, the company’s shares have seen a rise of up to 110 percent.

The journey started with 1 truck

In 1976, the foundation of this company was laid in Vijay Sankeshwar, which is also known as Trucking King today. VR Logistics, which started with just 1 truck, has about 6,177 commercial vehicles in this day. The company’s market cap is about Rs 5106 crore.
