Devendra fadnavis on raj thackeray: Political ruckus continues in Maharashtra over Marathi and Hindi. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis targeted Raj Thackeray, the head of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). He said that Thackeray feels that he is Marathi. Brother, we are also Marathi. We have got 51 percent of the votes. The public is with us, Marathi is with us.
On the matter of beating the shopkeeper by MNS workers on not speaking Marathi, the CM said that I clearly say that it is not wrong to proud of Marathi language in Maharashtra but if someone goes away with the language, then we will not tolerate it.

Fadnavis said, “If someone assares people on the basis of language, it will not be tolerated. The police have taken action by registering an FIR on the incident and if any such language creates controversy in future, then legal action will be taken.
He said, “We are proud of our Marathi, but this is not done in this way with any language of India. Sometimes I am surprised that these people adopt English and create controversy about Hindi, how is this thinking and strict action will be taken against those who take the law in hand.
Notice to the accused
Let me tell you that on June 28, MNS workers assaulted the owner of Jodhpur Sweets on Mira Road in Mumbai for refusing to speak Marathi. In this case, on Friday, the police called seven MNS workers and after giving notice, let the accused go. The Kashimira police have registered a case of riot, threat and assault against seven MNS workers under the Indian Justice Code.
