Great batsman Sachin Tendulkar has praised the new Test captain Shubman Gill for his thoughtful and peaceful decisions. Gill was elected the captain of Team India’s Test team before the series against England. The start of his captaincy was quite difficult. India had to face defeat to England in the first match. The third Test of the series between India and England is being played at Lord’s ground from Thursday. Earlier, Sachin spoke to Star Sports, saying, “He is playing very brilliant, very calm and restrained. I am confident that the remaining 10 players respect his decisions and leadership. The decisions he has taken, he has understood and taken carefully.”
Sachin further said, “His batting matches his captaincy. When a captain is in good form, it puts a positive impact on taking decisions. You should stay in the right mindset to take necessary decisions and he is in the same position at this time. He is batting brilliantly.”
Gill is making a blast with the bat
Gill is in great form in the series against England. Gill had scored a brilliant century in the first match. After this, Gill scored a double century in the first innings in the second match.
