If you are dreaming of making a career in railway, then a great opportunity has come out for you. Chennai -based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) has issued an official notification of recruitment for 1010 posts for apprenticeship. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of ICF.indianrailways.gov.in. The last date for application has been fixed on August 11, 2025.
The same candidates will be considered qualified for these posts, who have passed at least 50% marks with a tenth grade science and mathematics subject from a recognized board. Along with this, it is also necessary for the candidates to have a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade. Candidates can also apply for 12th (PCB – Physics, Chemistry, Maths) for some trades.
What is age limit?
According to the notification issued by the ICF, the minimum age to apply has been fixed at 15 years. The maximum age limit has been kept 24 years for non-ITI candidates and 22 years for ITI candidates. However, reserved classes will get the benefit of age relaxation – SC/ST will be given 5 years and OBC will be given 3 years discount.
Will also get stipend
During the apprenticeship, the candidates will also be given a stipend every month. On the basis of class X, selected candidates will get Rs 6,000 per month, Rs 7,000 per month on 12th basis and X-ITI students will also get Rs 7,000 per month.

What is the application fee?
Candidates of General, OBC and EWS class will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Whereas women candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Divyang and all classes have been exempted from fees.

Candidates will have to register themselves first by visiting the ICF website. After this, fill the form, upload the document and pay the fees. Keep in mind that it is very important to fill the form correctly and on time, as no application will be accepted after the last date.
