Entrance examinations for admission to Post Graduate (PG) course at Lucknow University will be held tomorrow, ie on 17 July 2025. The examination will be in two shifts and a total of 1567 candidates are going to appear on this day. The university administration has issued necessary guidelines for the candidates.
These topics will be in the morning shift
The first shift will be from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, which will include a total of 983 candidates. These subjects will be tested in this shift-
- Biotechnology
- Computer science
- B.P.Ed.
- Public Health (Community Medicine)
- Anthropology
This topic in the evening shift
The second shift will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, in which 584 candidates will take the exam. These subjects will be tested in this shift-
- Applied geology
- B.Lib.I.Sc.
- education
- Biochemistry
- M.Lib.I.Sc.
- Public health
Necessary instructions for examinees
The university administration has asked the candidates to read and follow all the instructions given in their admit card carefully. It will be mandatory to reach the center by 9:30 am for the morning shift one hour before the examination starts. No late candidates who come late will be allowed to appear in the examination.
Is it necessary to bring?
- Two passport size photo
- Identity Card (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License or One of Voter ID)
- Blue or black hair point pen
- Transparent bottle water
- If you have sought reservation for UE, CT, PWD, FF, Ex-Army, NCC or Sports, then bring its certificate along and get the verification done immediately after the examination.

Exam pattern
There will be 100 multiple choice questions in the entrance examination which will have to be solved in 90 minutes. 2 marks will be given for each correct answer. The most relief is that there will be no negative marking in the examination. Lucknow University has appealed to the candidates not to participate in the examination with peace and discipline and do not pay attention to any kind of rumors. All arrangements have been ensured at the examination centers and strong arrangements have been made for security.
