In this episode, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken a big decision to reduce the electricity bill of Biharites. He has announced to provide 125 units of free electricity to the people of the state every month. That is, now the bill will not have to be paid on spending electricity to the fixed limit.
This will provide relief to about 1.67 crore consumers of the state. But let us tell you that Bihar is not at the forefront of this matter. Free electricity is getting more electricity than Bihar in these states
Before the assembly elections in Bihar, there is a glut of government gifts on the people of Bihar. The Bihar government has now announced to provide 125 units of free electricity. Punjab is at the forefront of this matter where people get free electricity up to 300 units every month.

Bihar residents will benefit from August
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has made it clear that 1.67 crore people of the state will now get 125 units of electricity free. He announced by posting X that this decision will be implemented from 1 August 2025. That is, the power burden will be slightly lighter from August. The government’s free electricity scheme is also considered very important from this election perspective. The Aam Aadmi Party of Delhi also won the hearts of the residents of Delhi with the free electricity scheme. Now it has to be seen whether this decision of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can win the hearts of the people of Bihar or not.
