In the last eight years, 14,973 action was taken by the UP Police for the criminals. During this, 30,694 criminals were arrested and sent to jail. During this time, 9,467 criminals who attacked the police were shot in the leg while 238 criminals were killed.
Most action in Meerut Zone
Action was taken in the most west Meerut zone in the state. Here 7,969 criminals were arrested by the police while 2,911 were injured. Similarly, 5,529 criminals were arrested in Agra zone and 741 were injured. In Bareilly zone, 4,383 criminals were caught and 921 were injured. Apart from this, 2029 criminals were arrested and 620 were injured in Varanasi zone.

The DGP said that 1,983 were arrested and 1,180 injured in Gautam Budh Nagar in the Commissionerate. At the same time, 1,133 were arrested in Ghaziabad Commissionerate and 686 were injured. Apart from this, 1,060 criminals were arrested and 271 were injured in Agra Commissionerate. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held the first goal of law in the state as soon as he took power in Uttar Pradesh and set the criminals in the state. His clear warning was that there is no place for criminals in Uttar Pradesh. Leave that crime or leave the state.
The strict steps taken in this direction have given a new direction to law and order in the state.
