According to the report of the department, on Sunday (July 19), the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 38.3 degrees Celsius, which was 3.1 degrees more than the seasonal average. At the same time, the temperature was recorded at 37.6 degrees Celsius in Palam, 37.2 degrees Celsius in Ayanagar, 36.7 degrees Celsius in Lodhi Road and 36.6 degrees Celsius in Ridge.

Today on Monday (July 20), people of Delhi-NCR may get some respite from the humid heat. Today the sky is expected to be cloudy. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 32–34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 25–27 degrees Celsius.
There may be very light to light rain in many areas and moderate rain in some areas between morning and afternoon today. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30-40 km/hour along with thunderstorms and lightning.
These winds can reach a speed of up to 50 km/h with gusts. The department has predicted that there may be another round of very light to light rain between afternoon and evening. According to IMD, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature in Delhi in the next 24 hours, but after that it may drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius.

Earlier on July 17 (Friday), the minimum temperature was recorded at 31.0 degrees Celsius.
