Us women married in pakistan: Mindi Rasmusen, a 47 -year -old woman from Illinois state of America, is married to Sajid Zeb Khan, who lives in Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. According to the report of ‘Don’ newspaper, the two met on Facebook about a year ago. The relationship between the two strengthened through online chat and video calls. After several months of conversation, Mindi Rasmusen proposed marriage to Sajid Zeb Khan. When the two families got the consent, Mindi reached Pakistan and gave a formal form to the marriage.
Mindi reached Pakistan, welcomed warmly
Mindi Rasmusen arrived in Pakistan on a 90 -day visit visa earlier this month. When she reached Islamabad International Airport, Sajid Zeb Khan welcomed her with a bouquet of flowers. After this, Mindi converted to Islam and changed his name to ‘Julekha’.
Traditional marriage in the village, people welcomed
After this the couple reached Sajid Zeb Khan’s village, Upper Dir (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), where the local people welcomed him warmly. According to media reports, the villagers gave gifts and celebrations were also celebrated on this occasion. Both were married through traditional nikah according to Islamic traditions.
Family consent and police confirmation
Local police officers and both families confirmed that this marriage took place according to mutual consent and local traditions. After marriage, Mindi Rasmusen, i.e. Julekha praised Pakistan. He said, Pakistan is a very beautiful and peaceful country. The hospitality of the people here is more than my expectations.
Family is aware of marriage in America
He also told that his father, elder sister and younger brother in America had complete knowledge of his plan and he is in support of him. Julekha praised her husband Sajid Zeb Khan and said that she is a “loving and humble man”. He said that Sajid’s truth and respectable behavior strengthened his relationship.
Sajid said- We married on our own free will
Sajid Zeb Khan told that his wife decided to adopt Islam and marry herself. She is an independent woman who can take her decisions. We have married our will.
Julekha appealed to foreign people to come to Pakistan
Julekha appealed to other foreigners to come to Pakistan, saying, “I encourage people to come to Pakistan and experience its rich culture, hospitality and natural beauty.”
