If you have given CUET UG 2026 exam and want to take admission in Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), then there is good news for you. The university has started the admission process for Undergraduate (UG) and Integrated courses for the academic session 2026-27. Interested candidates can register online from July 9 to July 16, 2026.
For admission, candidates will have to apply by visiting CUSB SAMARTH portal. During application, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to deposit Rs 500 per course, while SC, ST and Disabled (PwD) category candidates will have to deposit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 200.
The university has clarified that admission will be completely based on the marks obtained in CUET UG 2026. However, merely applying or depositing the fees to block a seat will not ensure admission. Final admission will be given only after successful verification of merit, prescribed eligibility and documents.
The first round cut-off will be released on July 21. Candidates whose names will appear in the first round will be able to block their seats by paying the entry fee between July 21 and 23. After this, the cut-off for the second round will be declared on 27th July and the selected candidates will be able to deposit the fees from 27th to 29th July. At the same time, the list of provisionally admitted students will be released on July 30.

The university has advised the candidates that before applying, they must check that they have appeared in CUET UG 2026 only in those subjects which are necessary for their chosen course. The application may be rejected if the eligibility conditions are not fulfilled.

If seats remain vacant after any round and eligible candidates are not available in the waiting list, the University may conduct additional admission rounds if needed. However, the final decision on whether to conduct further rounds or not will rest with the university.
