Common people cannot land at these metro stations of Delhi, special ID has to be shown to go here

Although it can be easily entered and exit at any metro station in Delhi, but there are some stations from where you have to show ID card to exit.

ID cards have to be shown at Shankar Vihar and Sadar Bazar Cantro Station of Delhi Metro, only then one gets to get out. Because both these metro stations are located in the Cantt area.

Shankar Vihar is located on the Magenta Line started under Metro Station Phase 3. Here metro is available from Kalkaji to Janakpuri West.

At the same time, Sadar Bazar Cantt station also comes in the defense area, but it is located on the road, so that people can easily come and go. However, ID card has to be shown here too.

Actually, both these stations are under the defense area, that is why the metro authorities believe that passengers must check their ID proof for safety.
