Tesla has introduced the new and big version of his popular electric SUV Model Y for the Chinese market. This new version is now longer, elevated and more space from inside. The most important thing is that it has now been given three roas seating, so that 6 people can sit comfortably in it. This SUV is now a better option for families who want more space in electric vehicles.
What is the change in the size of Model Yl?
- According to the leaked information, the length of Model Yl will be 4.98 meters, width 1.92 meters and height 1.67 meters. It is 179 mm long and 44 mm tall than the current Model Y. With this change, it will now get more legrooms and headrooms than before. The rear part of the car has a new design and spiiler, which has made its look even more sporty.
Power and performance
- Tesla’s new Model YL SUV has a dual motor setup, in which the front motor generates 190 bhp and rear motor 265 bhp power. The two motors together give a total power output of 456 bhp. This electric SUV is capable of giving a top speed of 201 km per hour.
- MODEL YL will be launched with the all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which will make its traction and control much better. Although the company has not yet shared information about its battery and driving range, it is expected that Tesla’s powerful and long distance batteries will be used in it.
Where will it be made and when will it be launched?
- MODEL YL will be prepared in Tesla’s Shanghai factory and will have LG Energy Solution batteries. Its sales in China are likely to start by the end of 2025.
- This model has been positioned between Model Y and Model X so that customers who want more seating, but cannot afford the price of Model X, get a practical and affordable option.
Why was Model Yl brought?
- In view of the demand of rapidly growing three-heart electric SUVs in China, Tesla has introduced Model YL. Its purpose is not only to give customers a new option but also to handle the falling sales in the market.
- In the first half of 2024, Tesla’s sales in China were recorded by 5.4%, and Model YL has been designed to turn the same trend.
Will 3-Ro Tesla come in India too?
- Let us know that it is not yet clear when the 3-RW Tesla will come in India or whether this model will be Y 3-seater version. Tesla has not given any confirmed information about this.
