Thai Woman Wilawan Emsawat: A big sex and blackmail scandal has surfaced in Thailand, in which a woman named Villwan Amsavat implicated many senior Buddhist monks in her trap. Police said that she used to blackmail her with private videos and collect a hefty amount after having sex with the monks.
Who is Wilwan Amsavat?
Wilwan Amsavat is a woman around the age of 30, who was arrested from her luxurious house in Nonthaburi near Bangkok. Police said that she used to contact the monks through social media and implicate them. He is accused of blackmailing, money laundering and possession of illegal assets against him.
80,000 nude files
Police said that more than 80,000 photos and videos have been found from Villavan’s phone and home, in which she is seen having sex with many Buddhist monks. Using these videos, she used to make money from monks. According to the report, in three years he earned about 385 million Thai weights (about ₹ 102 crore).
Woman claims- child is from a monk
According to the Daily Star report, Villavan has claimed that he has also born a child from a monk. The matter came to light when the main monks of ‘Wat Trei Thoshape’, a famous temple in Bangkok, suddenly disappeared. Later it was discovered that he escaped leaving the monk’s life, upset by the woman being blackmailed.
Monks expelled
Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau said that at least 9 senior monks have been removed from their posts in this case. Some have hidden themselves. This incident has shocked the entire Buddhist community.
