Boycott attributed Pant to injury

Pant was batting brilliantly against England on the first day. But playing reverse sweep proved to be fatal for him. Pant tried to put a reverse sweep off the ball of Vox, but the ball touched the bat and hit his leg. Because of this, he was injured. After this, Boycott has criticized Pant’s shot as stupid.

Boycott said, “When a player is injured and this affects his ability to participate in the game, it is sad. Especially talented players like him. But for this he should only blame himself.”

Boycott further said, “They were under control and were batting in a straightforward way. There was no need to play some strange or dangerous shots in such a situation. Pant often plays unique shots. When his shots look right, people go to the square and play a lot of applause-this is the specialty of their batting. But sometimes when they do not succeed, then they say that they are very happy, they say that they say. There is nature, but on the other hand it can also be said that if they are not able to bat in both innings, then India can lose the match because Pant is such a good player.
