Who can apply?
To apply for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil), candidates should have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or institute. At the same time, mechanical engineering degree is required for candidates of mechanical engineering. Age limit and discount
The age of the candidates applying to this post should not be less than 21 years and more than 40 years. However, according to the rules of the UP government, some classes will be given age relaxation.
SC/ST/OBC candidates will get a maximum discount of 5 years.
Divyang (PWD) candidates will be given a discount of 15 years.
How will the selection be?
The selection process will be completely transparent and merit based. First, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score card. After this, merit list will be prepared. In the end, after examining the documents, the qualified candidates will be appointed.
