Amid political defects in Maharashtra, BJP leader and minister Nitesh Rane has made a shocking claim about Sharad Pawar’s grandson Rohit Pawar. Rane said that NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar was in touch with BJP leaders. Even though Rohit Pawar is with NCP (SP) leader Sharad Pawar, his heart is with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rohit Pawar, MLA from Karjat-Jamkhed of Ahilyanagar, has rejected Nitesh Rane’s claim. He said, “A person whose himself is caught in mud, should not comment on others.”

According to news agency PTI, Fisheries and Port Development Minister Nitesh Rane said, “Rohit Pawar was going to join BJP in 2019. If we started telling which BJP leaders were in touch with him, he would not have a place to hide.”
In response, Rohit Pawar said that whenever Rane, who was in Congress, was questioned about changing the party, he had answered in anger. The NCP (SP) leader taunted, “As he changes clothes, the parties also change. He is trapped in the mud himself, so avoid speaking about others.”
- Nitesh Rane’s claim- Rohit Pawar was in touch with BJP
- Rohit Pawar retaliated on Rane’s claims
- Rohit Pawar said- Just as Rane changes clothes, the parties also change
Rohit Pawar also said that he has been in the same party since the beginning of his political journey. Let me tell you that in the year 2023, there was a split in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar. His nephew Ajit Pawar and many other MLAs joined the government with BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde faction).
After this, the Election Commission considered Ajit Pawar’s faction to be the real NCP and handed it over to him. At the same time, Sharad Pawar faction got a new name and mark. Rohit Pawar is with Sharad Pawar and has been continuously questioning the BJP -led government.
