On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the opposition during the monsoon session of Parliament. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he said that the leaders of the opposition do not trust the talk of the foreign minister of India, but they trust another country. Taking a sarcasm, he said, ‘I can understand what is the importance of abroad in his party, but this does not mean that he should impose his thinking in Parliament.’
Amit Shah criticized the opposition and said that if the opposition does not trust the Foreign Minister of India, then that is why he is sitting in the opposition and will sit there for twenty years to come. His statement came at a time when Foreign Minister S Jaishankar was giving information about ceasefire in Parliament.

Foreign Minister S. in Parliament Jaishankar informed that on the morning of May 9, US Vice President JD Vance called India and expressed apprehension of Pakistani attack. On this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded clearly to America that India will give a ‘strong answer’ to this attack. Jaishankar said that there was no phone call between Prime Minister Modi and then US President Donald Trump between April 22 and June 17. The opposition started an uproar over this.

Jaishankar said that India targeted Pakistan -based terrorist bases. On the morning of May 7, Pakistan was given a message and ‘Pakistan was taught a lesson’. He said that India will no longer bear nuclear blackmailing.

S Jaishankar said that the United Nations condemned the terrorist attack, while Pakistan defended TRF. Quad countries criticized the incident and Tawwur Rana was extradited from America. France, Germany and European Union took a stand in favor of India. This is India’s diplomatic success.

The Foreign Minister also clarified that no third party was arbitrariness between India and Pakistan. Pakistan itself took the initiative of ceasefire and no inclination was shown from India.

Jaishankar said that there was a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs, the members of the Pakistan Embassy were declared ‘Person of Non Greeta’ and the international community was made aware of the threat of Pakistan. He said, ‘We told the world that India has the right to protect its citizens.’
