Sukma dantewada encounter latest news: 16 Naxalites have been killed in an encounter with security forces in the forest of Upampalli Keralapal area on the Sukma-Dantewada border of Chhattisgarh. Security forces have recovered the bodies of Naxalites from the forests of Sukma. 4 soldiers have also suffered minor injuries in this encounter. 4 security forces personnel were injured in Sukma encounter. 3 out of 4 DRG and 1 CRPF personnel of security forces are included. The condition of the injured soldiers is out of danger.
According to IG P. Sundararaj of Chhattisgarh Bastar Zone, 16 Naxalites have been killed in an encounter with security forces in the forest of Upampalli Keralapal area on the Sukma-Dantewada border. At the same time, Sukma SP Kiran Chavan has said that firing is still going on in the forest of Upampalli Keralapal area on Sukma-Dantewada border.

Gupta information was received about the presence of Naxalites
The encounter between security forces and Naxalites is still going on. The firing started during the Joint Naxal operations launched by the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Friday (March 28). According to officials, a campaign was started on the basis of special intelligence about the presence of Naxalites in Keralapal area under the boundary of Sukma police station.
The joint party left for a search operation on March 28. Since the morning of March 29, there is intermittent firing between Naxalites and security forces. Security forces are currently searching in depth of the encounter site and surrounding wild areas.
Let us know that Sukma is one of the most affected districts in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, where many Naxalite attacks have taken place earlier. Earlier on Friday, a soldier was injured and was admitted to the hospital after an explosion in an improvised explosive device (IED) installed by Naxalites in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh and he was admitted to the hospital.
According to Bastar Inspector General of Police Sundararaj P, “A jawan was injured in the IED blast by Naxalites towards the fleet Koti. First aid is being given to the injured jawan.”
A large amount of deadly weapon recovered
Security forces have taken huge amounts of AK-47, SLR, Insas Rifle, .303 Riflej, Rocket Launcher, BGL Launcher weapon and other explosives from the encounter site. The Naxalites killed in the Joint Force of DRG Sukma and CRPF are being identified in the Bijapur operation. Two DRG soldiers were injured in this encounter. The condition of the injured soldiers is normal. They are completely out of danger.
