US President Donald Trump’s Indian economy is in full swing on a dead economy statement. On supporting Trump’s statement, the BJP has targeted Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai compared the statements of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor on the Indo-US trade deal.
‘One speaks for India and the other for foreign masters’
K Annamalai posted on X and said, “One spoke in the interest of India and the other talked in such a tone to make his foreign boss happy. On one hand the whole world is looking at India with hopeful eyes, while the leaders of the opposition think the opposite.” He said, “Rahul Gandhi has become blind about India’s progress. He is always ready to repeat the foreign voices that weaken India.”
Supporting Trump’s statement, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that except the Prime Minister and Finance Minister, everyone knows that the Indian economy has become a dead economy. He said that it is happy that President Trump put a fact in front of everyone.
India does not have a lack of pass options- Shashi Tharoor
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor gave a different opinion from Rahul Gandhi. He said that if America is adamant on its inappropriate demands, then India should move to another country. He said, “Our economy is not completely dependent on exports like China. We have already made an agreement with Britain and are also interacting with other countries. We do not have a shortage of options and this is the strength of India.”
Taking a dig at the oil deal from the US-Pakistan, Tharoor said, “He is going to work with Pakistan to develop oil reserves and wishes him to find oil in Pakistan. It can be just a strategy of bargaining because you know the conversation about business is still going on.”
