World’s largest investor Warren Buffett shocked, a big loss of 31,600 crores

Warren buffett: The world’s largest investor Warren Buffett company Berkshire Hathway has lost $ 3.8 billion (about Rs 31,600 crore) on one of its investment in Kraft Heinz. This is no less than a shock for Berkshire Hathway. Usually, any company in which Warren Buffett invests is in profit, but this is not the case with Kraft Hinj.

Decline in company’s profits

In fact, in the second quarter of 2025, the profit of Berkshire Hathaway declined in the second quarter, causing the company’s net profit to fall 59 percent to $ 12.37 billion (about Rs 10.79 lakh crore). Whereas last year, the company made a profit of $ 30.25 billion (about 26.38 lakh crore rupees).

Although Buffett has suffered a loss on its stake in Craft Hrenz, he is still in profit because the shares of this company making packaged food made from the merger of craft and highs in 2015 have led to a decline of 62 percent since then in the S&P 500 Index.

The company is facing difficulties

Now Craft Hinz is also thinking of separating a part of its business because these days the company is facing many challenges. One, due to increasing inflation, the company is facing increasing pressure on consumer expenses.

Apart from this, people have now become more conscious about their health and have started adopting healthy options of food and drink. In such a situation, instead of craft highs, customers have started giving preference to other products. Due to this, the company’s sales declined last month. In this way, craft hyena is in constant deficit.

Berkshire Hathway has more than 27 percent stake in Craft Hinz. At the end of the June quarter, Berkshire Hathaway has reduced its stake in Craft Hike to $ 8.4 billion. In the last two years, the investment of Berkshire Hathaway in the company is continuously decreasing. Earlier this year, representatives of Berkshire resigned from the board of Craft Hanz.
