UP Weather: Alert of heavy rain in UP today, continuation will continue the next 24 hours, thunderstorms will also be warned

The Meteorological Department is likely to show thunderstorms in almost all places in the western division of the state today, while in eastern UP too, there will be thunderstorms with thunderstorms in many places today. In these districts, alert has been issued for heavy to heavy rain.

Lalitpur, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Deoria, Ballia, Chandauli, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Ghazipur and Varanasi will rain today. There will be no major change in the maximum temperature of the state in the next 24 hours, after which there will be a shortage of 2-4 degrees Celsius.

Many districts were in the grip of flood due to rain

The process of heavy rains will continue in UP for the next two days. From August 6, it will gradually decrease. On the other hand, due to rain, floods are wreaked havoc in more than 17 districts of the state. The water level of all the rivers including Ganga, Yamuna has reached the danger mark. Because of this, hundreds of villages have been submerged in water and their contact has been cut. Rescue operation has been started by the administration. Medicines and food items are being delivered to the people.
