The Greater Manchester Police has started a criminal investigation against Pakistan batsman Haider Ali. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has temporarily suspended him.

The Pakistan Cricket Board said, “PCB, fully respects the legal processes of the United Kingdom. The board understands the importance of allowing the investigation to run according to its prescribed process. Under this, the PCB has decided to temporarily suspend Hyder Ali with immediate effect, which will be applicable till the conclusions of investigation will be completed.
