In which he has linked the recent natural disaster in Uttarkashi and Himachal with bulldozer action at religious places. This statement has caught fire and Dr. Hasan is also being criticized.
Actually, Dr. Hasan said in his statement that there is no respect for the religion of another in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Bulldozers should not run above any religious site. There is someone else who runs this world, when he is justice, then the man is unable to save himself from anywhere. Hasan connected this natural disaster with the alleged bulldozer actions at religious places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, which he described as a lack of respect for other religions.
People angry with the statement
This statement of ST Hasan has created sharp reactions in social media and political corridors, as many people are considering it an inappropriate comment on a sensitive issue like natural disaster.

BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi has reacted sharply to ST Hasan’s statement, he posted on his handle on social media that natural disasters are painful for complete humanity. In such a situation, the statement of the SP MP is going to apply salt chili on the wounds. It is also shameful to share natural disaster into religious grooves. The SP encourages such an MP instead of punishing. “
Questions on bulldozers who have raised earlier
Dr. ST Hasan had also spoken openly against bulldozer action earlier. Welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision to ban bulldozer actions in September 2024, Hasan had said that the action of bulldozers was being taken against most Muslims. This is democracy, there is no monarchy here.
However, no official complaint or statement has been received against Dr. Hasan on this statement.
Cloudburst in Uttarkashi
On August 5, a cloudburst incident in Dharali village of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand caused huge havoc. In this disaster, heavy floods and debris flowed in Kheerganga village and surrounding areas, which destroyed the houses, hotels, and settlements. So far, the death of 5 people has been confirmed, while more than 50 people are missing. The teams of the Indian Army, NDRF, SDRF, and ITBP are engaged in relief and rescue operations.
