Network malfunctions at Mumbai Airport, problem in check-in, many flights affected

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mumbai took place at the International Airport on Saturday (August 9, 2025). Due to fault in the third party network at Mumbai Airport, there were problems in the operation of many flights. The Air India Airline has also released a travel advisory in this regard. In advisory, Air India said that the network’s malfunction has affected the airline’s check-in system.

However, the airline officials issued a statement saying that all the affected systems have been restored again. The operation of aircraft will gradually become normal. Meanwhile, some aircraft flights may be delayed.

Passengers asked questions about delay in flights, Airport Authority answered

Flights of aircraft were affected due to problems in the network at the airport. On this, the passengers started asking questions by the airport officials. Reacting to the interrogation of the passengers, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) officials said that emergency measures have been implemented at the airport to handle network problems.

Airport officials gave information

Team CSMIA gave information by sharing a post on social media platform X. In the post, “We want to inform you that at this time we are facing 0 network failure problems at the airport. We have implemented all emergency arrangements and we are working to improve this problem with our core team. To reduce this problem, we are working in manual mode to reduce this problem. At this time we appreciate you to maintain patience.”

Airline appeals to passengers to stay updated

After the problems in the network at the airport, the Air India Airline has requested all the passengers to take updated information about their flight schedule before leaving their home for the airport. Apart from this, the passengers have also appealed to reach the airport at the airport early to give more time for the process of security and check-in.
